Hilton College will host its annual Pink Day on Saturday, 7 November 2026, with Hilton and Michaelhouse cricket teams coming together to support PinkDrive and raise awareness and funds for cancer screening and early detection.

We invite everyone — whether you are supporting cricket or another sporting code on the day — to wear pink and get behind the boys as we come together to support this incredible cause.

💗 How You Can Get Involved:

1) Wrap a Tree in Pink

Make a R400 donation by Friday, 6 November 2026 to wrap a tree in pink in honour of someone special who is a cancer survivor, currently fighting cancer, or who has sadly lost their battle.

💗 When making your donation, please include in the donation comment the name of the person the tree wrap is for, or who you are remembering in their honour.

2) Make a Donation

Every contribution makes a difference. Donations of any amount are welcomed and appreciated.

3) Pledge Per Wicket

Make a pledge for every wicket taken by either team, with your pledged amount donated after the match.

4) Buy Pink Merchandise

Pink tumblers will be available in the lead-up to Pink Day and on the day, with proceeds going directly to PinkDrive.

Both Hilton College and Michaelhouse will also have a range of pink merchandise available to help raise funds for PinkDrive.

5) Midlands Ladies Lunch

Join us for the Midlands Ladies Lunch on Friday, 6 November, at the Hilton Fleur de Lys Club, for a memorable afternoon of friendship, connection and support for the vital work of PinkDrive.

How PinkDrive Uses Funds Raised:

Funds raised for PinkDrive are directly allocated towards providing free cancer screening services to medically uninsured South Africans.

Services include:

• Breast examinations
• Mammograms
• Ultrasounds
• Pap smears
• Health education
• Educational talks
• Blood pressure and glucose screening
• Chest X-rays for lung screening
• Skin examinations by Dermatologists

PinkDrive’s outreach programmes have also expanded to include these additional screening services, helping reach more communities where access to healthcare is limited.

PinkDrive is also fundraising and earmarking funds to accumulate R2.3 million to custom-build an HPV screening truck, enabling PinkDrive to expand the delivery of HPV and cervical cancer screening services in underserved communities.

HPV screening is a laboratory test that detects high-risk strains of human papillomavirus in cervical cells, helping to identify women at increased risk of cervical cancer.

Funds raised enable PinkDrive to take these essential services directly into underserved communities, focusing on early detection, education and prolonging lives.
