About this campaign
This season, the Toyota Cheetahs and THIRSTI are partnering with the Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA) to raise funds and awareness for testicular cancer.
Here’s how it works: for every try the Cheetahs score this season, supporters can pledge an amount that converts directly into a donation to CANSA. Fans can also choose to make a once-off donation. All proceeds go towards CANSA’s testicular cancer education, screening, and support programmes, helping drive early detection and life-saving awareness.
To launch the initiative, THIRSTI has introduced custom cheetah-print Budgy Smugglers for players to wear on match days, using bold energy and humour to spark conversation around men’s health. In addition, for the first 50 tries scored this season, THIRSTI will donate R1 000.00 per try, with the support of Sport For Lives.
Supporters are encouraged to get involved, whether by pledging per try or making a once off donation, because every try scored can help make a real difference off the field.
