About this campaign
Africa has always had such a deep place in my heart. There is something deeply grounding about our wild spaces — the smell of the bush after rain, the stillness before sunrise, the sound of wildlife all around, and the quiet reminder that we are part of something far bigger than ourselves.
My family and I have been fortunate to experience the beauty of the bush throughout Africa, and with that privilege comes responsibility. Our wildlife, our wilderness areas, and the brave Rangers who protect them need more than admiration. They need support, resources, and people willing to stand with them.
That is why I am taking part in Run For Rangers on 1 and 2 August — a 2-day, 100km run through Babanango Game Reserve in support of Project Rhino. All funds raised go directly towards equipping Rangers with the training, technology, and resources they need to protect our natural heritage. Every kilometre is a small act of gratitude for the places that have shaped me, restored me, and reminded me of the raw beauty of this continent we call home. I am running for our rhinos, our Rangers, our children, and the generations still to come.
As a former competitive athlete, I come to this event monumentally unprepared and completely humbled. I am relying on the support of family and friends, a smidge of mental fortitude, and the unbelievable gees of my fellow runners to get me through. So, thank you in advance for your amazing support.
This is more than a run. It is an opportunity to turn a love for the wild into action, awareness, and real impact.
Please donate generously and support my run to help the brave Rangers protect Africa's wild spaces, so that future generations can immerse themselves in the beauty, power, and wonder of our protected wildlife areas.
