Parel Vallei 1st Team Boys’ Hockey Play in Pink

R10,903 raisedR20,000 goal

About this campaign

We, the Parel Vallei 1st Team Hockey boys, are proud to represent our school and community by playing with purpose through our partnership with Sport For Lives.

Keeping our community in mind, we have chosen to support PATCH Helderberg Child Abuse Centre as the charity we will stand behind and actively get involved with this season.

Our aim is to raise R20 000 while also shining a light on the important work PATCH does in protecting and supporting children who have experienced abuse.

To reach this goal, we will be taking part in "Play in Pink” matches, starting with our game against Somerset College, where we will wear pink socks in support of the cause. We will run a similar initiative later in the season against another team.

For these matches, supporters will have the opportunity to pledge an amount per goal scored or make a once-off donation, allowing every goal to contribute directly to our fundraising efforts.

As a team, we are determined to make a positive impact by giving back, standing together, and using our platform to support those who need it most.
