The St Alban’s Checks (First Hockey Team) will dedicate the 2026 season to The Zinhle Foundation once again. We are excited to continue this partnership with the foundation and help them reach their goals to make the dreams of young men in a challenged community a reality.

These young men of the Lotus Gardens community have found a safe space to learn and dream at S.K. Moseneke Primary School, where the Foundation operates from. We believe in growth, possibility, and cultivating a sense of community, and that through this season we will make a difference.

As a team, we are committed to playing hockey this year for the goals and dreams of the young men of this foundation, whom we have come to know and believe in.

It is our mission to raise R30,000 this year through pledges and once off donations at our hockey games. We are proud to be affiliated with the Zinhle Foundation, where the lives of young men are improved through literacy and mentorship.

We support and believe, as they do, that by focusing on literacy, mentorship, and skills development, we can break cycles of poverty, crime, and lack of opportunity, paving the way for a brighter future.
