In 2026, Bridge House Boys Hockey U16A, U16 B & U19 A, U19 B teams will use the Sport For Lives platform to raise money for Dalabuhle Primary School.

Every goal scored by our senior hockey teams throughout the season will help raise funds for school operations, learner resources, and opportunities for students at Dalabuhle Primary. Our goal is to raise R20 000 to support their educational journey and make a meaningful difference in the lives of their learners.

Through this campaign, we hope to use hockey as a force for good — giving back to a community and helping create better opportunities for young people.

As Hockey players at Bridge House, we are fortunate to train and compete on outstanding facilities, with access to quality coaching, and a world class Astro turf with opportunities to grow both on and off the pitch. It’s something we work hard for, but also something we can easily take for granted. The reality is that many young people at schools like Dalabuhle Primary do not have access to the same sporting spaces, educational resources, or opportunities.

That is why every goal matters.

We ask our Bridge House community, families, friends, and supporters to get behind this initiative by pledging an amount per goal scored this season. Pledges are calculated based on the combined total of goals scored by U16A, U16 B & U19 A, U19 B teams or by making a once-off donation.

Whether it is R10, R100, or R1000, every contribution will go a long way in helping provide resources, support daily school operations, and create brighter opportunities for learners.
